Joy of Motion Dance Center is committed to not turning any student away for inability to pay, as well as infusing access and inclusion into all of our youth programming.  We want to work with our families to make long-term, high-level dance education possible for everyone.

We are excited to again be offering financial aid to our students!

All of Joy of Motion’s financial aid is need-based and primarily awarded on a case-by-case basis through income verification, as available funds allow. Students are typically awarded 100%, 75%, or 50%  in tuition assistance per registered session(s), determined by the 2020 HUD Income Limits Documentation System’s household income scales. More information can be found in the FAQs below.

Financial aid applications for Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 sessions are now closed.

We received a high volume of interest and are unable to accept any additional applications at this time. All previously received applications for the Spring and Summer 2021 sessions will be processed and applicants will be notified.

The application will re-open to interested students as we are able to secure additional funding to underwrite the program. Until we are able to build our operations back up to a more robust volume, we must limit our financial aid resources to what we are able to raise in contributed funds to underwrite the program. This, along with our commitment to serve as many dancers in need as possible, means that we are not able to accept rolling applications to our financial aid program at this time.

If you are interested in supporting our financial aid efforts, you can make a tax-deductible donation to the Youth Financial Aid program right here.

More information about our financial aid program can be found in the FAQs below.
