A full production team, as well as marketing and box office support, are included in rentals.

About The Jack Guidone Theater
The Jack Guidone Theater, located at Joy of Motion’s Friendship Heights location, opened in 1995 as a casual and intimate theater space named for one of Joy of Motion Dance Center’s founding faculty members. Jack Guidone was a dancer, choreographer, teacher, designer, and mask maker. Mr. Guidone, who died in 1987, was a long-time force in the D.C. arts scene. The theater honors the creative spirit of Mr. Guidone by presenting the works of many new and developing artists.

The Jack Guidone Theater functions as a home for most of Joy of Motion’s in-house and student productions, as well as being an affordable and popular venue for performing artists and companies desiring an intimate space in which to show their work.
