Workshop: Grown Ups Need to PLAY!

“In our hectic, modern lives, many of us focus so heavily on work, obligations, and family commitments that we never seem to have time for pure fun. Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we’ve stopped playing. When we do carve out some leisure time, we’re more likely to zone out in front of the TV or computer than engage in fun, rejuvenating play like we did as children.Play loosens up our mind, limbers your soul, and enhances our capacity for JOY! But just because we’re adults it doesn’t mean we have to take ourselves so seriously and make life all about work. We all need to play.” Michelle Ava, M.A.

DSC_0012 Michelle Ava, M.A., is the founder of Joy of Motion Dance Center and continues her work in the community as a Movement Specialist. She shares with us why grown ups still have to play and what we can expect from her CREATE: Playshop workshop.
