STAR is a talent show that is independently curated and produced by students in Joy of Motion’s Youth Leadership Council. The show will feature a wide array of young singers, dancers, actors, poets, and performers, ages 8-18, from the DC area. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will directly benefit Joy of Motion’s youth financial aid fund and this is a great opportunity for our vibrant, artistic community to come together in support of arts education.
STAR will take place on February 3, 2018 at 8:00 pm at the Jack Guidone Theater (Joy of Motion • Friendship Heights).
No auditions are required. The show will be followed by a reception for performers, family, and friends.
