Kima Outdit, Age 16
I began interning at Joy of Motion Dance Center in September, and so far my experience has been very enjoyable. JOMDC has given me the opportunity to gain experience working in a professional environment and taking responsibility for completing work. I have also had the opportunity to go to elementary and middle schools in the area to assist teaching dance classes.
Teaching these classes have been very fun! I was able to work with the students one-on-one and encourage them to pursue a love for dance. The staff at JOMDC are very friendly and supportive, especially my director Ms. Quynn Johnson. She has taken my requests and suggestions to have an exciting experience and provided me with engaging assignments.
