JOMDC is offering a new fitness class called Body Tone on Mondays at 11am in Friendship Heights. Starting in January, this class is a low impact stretch and strength class focused on improving flexibility and core strength.
One of the best parts of this class…you don’t need sneakers or weights! Its a barefoot class that develops strength and endurance using your own body weight. Marianne Becton has owned and operated Fit For You Personal Training (FFY) since 2007. She has been a group fitness instructor since 1980! So, she knows her stuff! “This workout will use every muscle in your body and leave you feeling stronger, more focused, and of course, more limber.”
Marianne has worked at a number of local fitness clubs included Rock Creek Sports Club, Chevy Chase Athletic Club, Providence Hospital Wellness Center, Catholic University, and George Washington University. We are so excited that she’s here to help us get in our best shape! Marianne’s fitness philosophy is that workouts should be fun, easy to follow, energetic, and effective.
