Joy of Motion Dance Center Leads a Healthy New Year Resolution on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage

Joy of Motion Dance Center will team up once again with the Kennedy Center to bring five fitness classes to its Millennium Stage in January 2017, offering a healthy new year resolution to the community. Audiences of all abilities can participate in the classes and will be encouraged to groove, move and have a good time while learning variations of Zumba, jazz, salsa and modern contemporary dance on the evenings of January 3, 10, 12, 23 and 29.

“Joy of Motion Dance Center always seeks to promote health and well-being in our communities. We want our audience to enjoy healthy living through dance, which is a fun and easy way to get moving. We are very pleased to have this opportunity to partner with the Kennedy Center to spread this message.” Stated Ayanna Williams, Director of Neighborhood Steps at Joy of Motion Dance Center.

As one of the Millennium Stage programs, all five classes will take place in the Kennedy Center Grand Foyer and no tickets are required.
