Vibe Tribe is a Joy of Motion Youth Performance Company for dancers in grades 5-9. This company explores many techniques and sub-genres within hip hop, exploring the cultural origins and subtleties of this varied dance form. Through their performances, Vibe Tribe inspires youth in the community to view hip hop and other urban dance styles as a positive, creative way to understand each other and to express their authentic selves. Youth Performance Companies are training programs for young dancers who love to perform. Students focus on training and technique for 3 hours each week in the studios and perform all over the DC-Metropolitan area.
