Explore and perform ideas of tension, release, shifts in modality, and musicality through highly physical movement. The class integrates intensive floor work, off balance movement phrases, and emotionality derived from music. Participants will have a chance to experience Mat Elder’s aesthetic as they investigate phrase work taken from “A Study of Occupied Spaces.”
