Dance Project is a choreography showcase presented by Joy of Motion Dance Center and serves as a platform for innovative dance.

Why is Dance Project unique? Dance Project is free to participate in and choreographers come from all over the mid-Atlantic region. Joy of Motion produces the concert and provides a full production team. Choreographers simply bring the dancers and the work.

Application: Please complete the online form by December 15.

Performance Date: Saturday, January 26, 2019 8:30 p.m. at The Jack Guidone Theater (5207 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20015).

Eligibility: All choreographers and performers must be age 18+. They can be current students, avocational dancers, or professionals. Each choreographer should submit only one piece. Pieces should be performed on a marley floor and not exceed 8 minutes. All styles of dance are welcome!

Note: Those under age 18 may apply for Youth Dance Project later in the season!
