Why do you dance?

I dance because I feel liberated and I teach because I love learning. My first experience with dance was as a dancer and acrobat in a West African Dance & Drum Ensemble in Dallas, TX. I was drawn to the dance because of the drum.

Who have you danced with?

I have worked with choreographers such as Hope Boykin, Ronald K. Brown, Earl Mosley, and Darrell Grand Moultrie, as well as performed works by Christopher Huggins and Alvin Ailey. I have also worked with Francesca Harper in The Francesca Harper Project, and as an assistant and associate to choreographer Matthew Rushing.
