Adult Tuition Information

Class Types
All classes, unless noted, are offered on a drop-in basis. Students may begin at any time at their skill level. Tuition can be paid by the single class or with a Flexicard. Exceptions are enrollment classes for which tuition is paid in advance for the entire semester (see below.)

Drop-In Classes

Drop-in classes occur at the same time and day each week throughout the semester. Students may take a class at their skill level at any time. Students can choose to pay by the class or can purchase a volume discount Flexicard.

Flexicards

The Flexicard allows students to prepay for multiple drop-in classes at a volume discount. With a Flexicard you can take any drop-in class, anytime, at the appropriate skill level until you have depleted your class credits on the card. Flexicards are only good toward drop-in classes and there are no transfers or refunds. Dance Unlimited cards have an expiration date of eight weeks from the date of purchase and allow you to take an unlimited amount of drop-in classes. All other Flexicards do not have an expiration date. All cards can be purchased at any JOM studio location.

Workshops

Workshops and master classes by faculty and guest artists are offered to supplement the regular schedule of classes. They are in-depth studies of a particular style of dance that occur at different times throughout the semester. Workshops help students improve specific skills within a dance style, and master classes give students a chance to study and learn with some of the industry's leading talents.

Enrollment Classes (e) and Performance Classes (p)

Enrollment classes have a set class curriculum that progresses throughout the semester. Enrollment classes require full payment in advance. Class beginning and ending dates vary. Performance Classes are offered each semester in various different dance disciplines as an opportunity for the adult student to experience the process and thrill of performing. Performance classes culminate in a showcase performance at the end of the semester.
