Resident Arts Partners are independent dance companies that are supported by Joy of Motion Dance Center, receiving free rehearsal space and other administrative and promotional support as necessary. Resident Arts Partners, through their utilization and development of dancers, activities and performances in the community, enhance and extend Joy of Motion’s mission of providing and encouraging people of all ages to integrate movement into their lives for better physical and spiritual health.

Companies
In addition to Resident Arts Partners, JOMDC also supports its own adult
companies who are managed by JOMDC. These companies support JOMDC's
mission by performing professionally throughout the area and participating
in JOMDC-sponsored concerts and in its outreach events and performances.
DCypher
Dance
DCypher Dance is JOMDC's adult resident hip
hop company. Comprised of dedicated, innovative JOMDC dancers and
choreographers, this group has thrilled audiences of all ages at local
concerts, events, and festivals.
JAZZeMOTION
JAZZeMOTION is JOMDC's adult over-50 jazz
company. Performing for community events and festivals, these
company members have the time of their lives!
JOMDC also has 7 resident youth companies and the award-winning Youth Dance Ensemble.
