Toni Lombre

Toni M. Lombre has appeared in the Broadway and touring cast of Uptown...It’s Hot with Maurice Hines. She has also appeared in and choreographed various musicals at the AMAS Repertory Theatre in New York, was a member of the tap company DancEllington under the direction of Mercedes Ellington and toured Europe in a musical review. Her film credits include Coming to America, Crocodile Dundee II and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with Tisha Campbell. She has performed with such tap greats as Savion Glover, Gregory Hines and the Nicholas Brothers. She is currently the tap professor at the Catholic University of America and was tap instructor at Duke Ellington High School. Ms. Lombre is an adjudicator for National Competitions and the Founding Artistic Director of Washington’s premier tap company, Taps & Co. Ms. Lombre was the tap consultant for "Brothers of the Knight" at the Kennedy Center and was the understudy in the role of Sunday which was performed and directed by Debbie Allen. She is also a choreographer for SuperClubs Resorts in Jamaica.  Most recently she performed in the Smithsonian series "Legends of Tap" and was the featured tap soloist at the Terrace Theater with composer Eric Charles McGee.
