Susan Gresko

Susan began studying ballet at age 12 with Janis Ray in Annandale , Virginia . She continued her training on scholarship at the National Academy of Arts in Champaign , IL with Petrus Bosman and Robert DiCello, at Jacob's Pillow with Benjamin Harkarvey, and at the Pennsylvania School of Ballet with Lupé Serrano and Cherie Noble.

She graduated with Highest Distinction honors from George Mason University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and performed with the George Mason University Dance Company.

She is a yoga teacher in the Viniyoga tradition and received her certification from the American Viniyoga Institute.  She is also certified in the Zena Rommett Floor-Barre technique.

Susan has taught youth and adult ballet, yoga, and Floor-Barre throughout the Washington Metropolitan.  In 2004 she joined the D.A.R.E Dance program to teach movement and choreography to elementary school children.

Susan joined the Joy of Motion faculty in 2004 where she teaches Ballet and Yoga.
