
Pauline Grossman
Pauline Grossman is a dancer and choreographer who has spent more than 10 years
teaching tap, jazz, ballet, and musical theater to students of all ages and skill
levels. As a dance teacher, Pauline combines emphasis on technique as well as
performance skills, so that her students have a well rounded education that will
allow them to use dance beyond the studio walls. She has previously served on the
faculty at the Musical Theater Center, the Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts
(Imagination Stage), the Newport School, and the Southeast Academy of Scholastic
Excellence. Pauline recently returned to Washington after spending 3 years in
Vermont where she was an instructor for the state’s largest dance studio. Pauline
is also an accomplished choreographer with over 20 production credits in the
Washington, D.C. area, including the American Century Theater, Montgomery College,
and The Bay Theater Company. She has choreographed concerts for country superstar
Pam Tillis and for the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center
for the Performing Arts. She holds a BA in Theater from the University of
Tennessee, Knoxville.
