Jamie Stagl
Jamie Stagl has been dancing, competing, and performing since the age of 3, and is
trained in hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and modern. Jamie has trained with
former tap champion Matthew Clark, and has taken hip hop classes with Dan Karaty,
choreographer on Fox's TV show, "So You Think You Can Dance". She has performed in
Disney World, Times Square, and in the Black Star Hip Hop Show in Rome, Italy. In
2003-2004 was a member of JOMDC’s resident hip hop company, JAM CREW, and also
danced with its outreach program, performing at the DC Youth Pride Festival, and
The Virginia Jazz Tap Festival. With Jam Crew Outreach's partnership with D.A.R.E
Dance of America, Jamie taught classes and performed at various schools throughout
the DC and Virginia area. Her other teaching experience includes F.I.T. inc.,
Potomac Dance Centre, and The Jacobs Fitness Center at American University.
