
Emily Eakland
Emily Arden Eakland has been a part of the performing arts community in Washington, DC for the past six years. She has had the opportunity to dance with hip hop, contemporary and ballet companies, has performed at live venues from the Kennedy Center to RFK Stadium, and has been involved in televised projects including a Washington Nationals commercial and an appearance in the TLC show, "Honey We're Killing the Kids." Ms. Arden has taught youth and adult classes at studios from Joy of Motion Dance Center and The Dance Institute of Washington to the School of the Washington Ballet. With her ability to be an organized and effective leader, Emily has taken on a role as coordinator for varied dance performances and programs throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, including the national DARE Dance Program. Through her work as a performer, artist, and leader, Emily continues to share the positive impacts that the performing arts can have on empowering youth and communities.
