Bethany Jenkins

Bethany Jenkins received most of her training in San Diego where she was born and 
raised. Dancing and performing since the age of three, she is trained in many 
styles of dance (Jazz, Tap, Broadway, Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop etc.). In high school 
she choreographed many shows for high schools and elementary schools in the San 
Diego area. She danced with Stage Seven Dance Company, All That Jazz Dance Studio, 
Sue Hamilton Dance Company, P. Michael Bonds, Chula Vista High School for The 
Creative and Performing Arts, and San Diego Junior Theatre. She received a Bachelor 
of Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia. While in school she choreographed 
shows at a local middle school. She has performed in many shows for professional 
theatres such as Starlight Musical Theatre, Star And Tortoise Productions, and The 
San Diego Rep. Her passion for teaching dance has brought her to Washington D.C. 
where she founded the dance program at Capital City Public Charter School. She 
teaches classes at the school for ages 3-12. She also works for the Washington 
Talent Agency/Four Star Entertainment as a dancer/choreographer's assistant.
