Angilique Campbell

Angilique Campbell has over 15 years of dance and fitness experience.  Since the age of 8, she has studied various disciplines including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, and African.  She has studied and performed with Hessler Studio of Dance, The Dance Institute of Washington, Knock on Wood Tap Studio, Koresh School of Dance, Maryland Youth Ballet, and Joy of Motion.

Ms. Campbell received her bachelor’s degree from Temple University, in Interdepartmental Communications and Theater.  During her undergraduate studies, she obtained certifications in aerobics, personal training, and yoga.  She later became a certified pilates instructor through Power Pilates and the Physical Mind Institute, both based in New York.

She teaches at several fitness and dance institutions in the DC Metropolitan area, such as George Washington University, Elite Dance Studio, Silver Stars Gymnastics, and Joy of Motion.  She has experience working with various populations including children ages 1-18yrs old, college students, morbidly obese individuals, athletes, dancers, and senior citizens. 

 Ms. Campbell believes that teaching is powerful and strives to be a positive role model in her community.  By inspiring others to lead healthy lifestyles, and by building confidence and strong self-esteem within her students, she feels that teaching is truly rewarding.
