                   Unless otherwise noted, students must be 18 years and above to participate in adult classes and workshops,
                   and 19 years and above to participate in adult performance classes..

JUNE

Dance is for Everyone Workshop
An Introductory Workshop For The New Dancer
with Michelle AVA

Date:  Saturday, June 7, 2008
Time:  11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Level:  Brand new to dance/beginner
Location:  JOMDC
Friendship Heights
Tuition:  $25 in advance/$30 at the door

For the beginner dancer or for those wanting to re-enter the dance world.  Join Michelle AVA in this "bare bones" Dance is For Everyone workshop facilitated in an understanding, gentle, and supportive environment.  Learn the fundamentals of dance/movement including the styles of jazz, modern, and ballet in a fun and lively way.  Be in a place where "making a mistake" and sometimes feeling uncoordinated is OK!  You will leave energized and confident knowing you can dance!

If you enjoyed your Intro to Dance Series classes at Joy of Motion Dance Center, and would like to enhance your experience with a follow up session, then join us for a Beginner's experience!  This workshop will help you to enhance your motor skills, i.e. hopping, skipping, jumping, and other basic "moves" that are inherent in all dance forms.  You will learn efficient ways to "memorize" or feel the dance combinations fully in your body.  Personalized coaching tips with Q & A sessions will help address your individual needs.
