The company focuses on developing new and innovative works of pure hip hop and fusion. The works are high energy, provocative, and “culture specific” for audiences of all ages and walks of life. The company produces works that enrich and empower community through dances of understanding, 
tolerance, and celebration!

Company Requirements:
1. Must be 19 years old or more. 
2. Must have at least 2 years experience in hip hop with the ability to perform at an advanced level (additional experience in jazz and modern a plus).
3. Members are representatives of JOMDC and will maintain high standards of artistic integrity, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
4. Members must be available for company rehearsals and additional rehearsals scheduled as necessary at any JOMDC location.
5. Members are expected to continue their study of dance technique with an emphasis on hip hop at JOMDC.
6. DCypher Dance performance schedule will include weekday and weekend performances. Schedule availability/flexibility is a must.
7. Members will have fundraising responsibility for certain production expenses and may need to provide certain costume items. All efforts will be made to keep costume expenses to a minimum.
8. Overall participation in the company should be viewed as an opportunity to learn, grow and develop as a dancer through a structured dance company.
