The paso doble, literally meaning, the two step or
double step, is a fast paced and exciting Spanish dance. The music of the paso
doble is the music that one traditionally hears at Spanish bullfights. A dance
of flare, the Paso Doble is generally a dance used as a finale in many Spanish
dance concerts or exhibitions. This workshop will expose students to this fun
and exhilarating dance. Emphasis is placed on the utilization and movement of
the torso to create effect and style.
